Most people eat based on their mood and/or some subjective feelings of hunger. They don't eat based on what their bodies need. Think of it this way: you're about to take a long drive on a stretch of highway with no gas station. Do you fail to stop for gas before you hit the road because you're 'not in the mood?' Personal trainers do more than provide a safe working environment, and help with workouts. A professional strength coach is there to provide motivation to clients helping them be successful in the pursuit of their goals. In addition to the motivation the trainer can provide a commitment to a standing appointment will help ensure you make it to your workout. When you have hired a person committed to your success this builds in some accountability. For those days away from your trainer you know he will be asking if you did your planned workouts. That knowledge will make it harder to that much harder to skip workouts, and bring you that much closer to your goals.
